Sygic Canada: GPS Navigation App Reviews

Ive re-installed the program, but it continues to crash after about 5 seconds of opening. It worked for a few days and then stopped.

I have made a purchase and then when I tried to open the app its not working on my iPhone 4s! What a disappointment!

Text to speech available only with some very bad English accent, at least we in North American cant understand a word. Car position is of 20-30 meters so when you still standing on red light it will show that car is already passed intersection. Giving 3 routes option but neither 1 is what I would choose. Good thing is that seems as only GPS app for iPhone with RedLight camera.

I dont see any reason to buy Sygic Canada anymore. Buy Sygic North America (which is still a 1-time fee) or the Canada map inside Sygic All Regions instead. Both have been updated to v13 several months ago while Sygic Canada is still at v12. I bought Sygic Canada when it had a lifetime license. Then they switched the app to this new licensing stuff and my lifetime license was gone. I finally got it back after a dozen support emails over a week, worked great for a couple months and then it broke again, some time ago. Not worth the trouble getting it back again on this outdated version. Overall I liked Sygic, especially the smoothness of the vector map. I also still hope they will break Canada map into smaller individual maps (provinces), because the whole Canada map is huge and is wasting alot of precious space on our devices.

Im really disappointed with this app and I want my money back. I cant use the license I paid for. Got lost many times on the road cause I cant use the full features of what I paid for. Kept asking for tech support as their solution doesnt help at all beside it takes long to respond from their side.

Please dont buy this app You wont be able to use it if you switch phone, Ive been trying to restore purchase with a guy named Boris from customer service and they cant do anything about it.. Please buy another one. A different GPS. THIS IS CRAP!!!! Money back please

This is the third update or iOS update to cause my licence to reset. I had an important meeting this morning and nearly missed it altogether. Had to use data and iOS maps which saved the day, but cost me money. Want a refund.

I paid for the full-year Canadian edition over two months ago, and despite trying to give it a chance the damn thing gets more and more ANNOYING. 1. Nags me about upgrading despite the fact I have already done so. Ugh. 2. Defaults to miles per hour and miles, despite the fact I have a Canadian atlas. 3. ROUTINELY uses incorrect speeds to calculate time to destination - for example recently kept insisting that it would take 4 hours to travel 180 kilometers (~110 miles) on a major freeway with no traffic. That would be less than 2 hours in reality. 4. Poor detail on maps if you are in rural areas of the country -- precisely where you might want to use an offline navigator app. UGH,

Great app ; offline GPS , Kids camping really cant get lost , even down in the caves .. Dont listen to those who call this trash .. Thanks bye .. GEO ..

I paid for the lifetime Canadian maps, and the software still nags me to register by cutting off a huge chunk of my map real estate with an "unlock" screen that wont go away. It interferes with the map and it makes the program useless. Many people reporting the same problem. Do not buy the software, you will lose your money. I am very disappointed. The people at Sygic have become greedy and desperate without properly removing the bugs from their software. Maybe Sygic was once good, but not anymore. Find an alternative.

The worst navigation app Ive used, it doesnt worth any penny.

Wont restore purchases, Canadian maps are years old, the pc version crashes all the time. Dont waste your time on this crap, there is much better out there Norm
